The A.K.A Project

The A.K.A Project is a duet between a dancer wearing a motion capture suit and a 3D model of a human body controlled by artificial intelligence, set within a cube as a stage.

The interaction between human and AI, inspiring and complementing each other, dancing together, defines the essence of our era. A human body is juxtaposed with an artificial intelligence capable of generating and linking all conceivable movements. A quantum space of superposition, where all movements coexist simultaneously, and only observation determines the choreography. Dance is confronted with the totality of itself, exposed to new ways of conceiving movement—created by AI.

The cube, the stage for this encounter, is also a space of projections and perspectives, generating distorted geometries and visual illusions that shift the interaction through different dimensions of perception. The cube takes us beyond the circle that measured the anatomical proportions of Vitruvian Man. The 3D cube, symbiotic with the digital realm, redefines human measurement by calculating its extended anatomical limits in conjunction with the machine. It shapes a cyborg version of the Vitruvian Man, remeasuring human movement—this time, with a female body and artificial intelligence.
